Arsenal To Pay £54m for Nicolo Zaniolo: Who is he?

It seems unlikely, considering the club  are struggling to negotiate a £25m deal for Celtic’s Kieran Tierney, but the Italian newspaper  Corriere Della Sera  are reporting  that Arsenal have contacted the agent of Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo with a €60m (£54m) cash offer. At the moment, it is believed the 20-year-old is keen on staying in Italy, with Juventus another potential suitor, but it is claimed that Juve would struggle to come up with the money. They may offer Gonzalo Higuain in part exchange but Roma are unconvinced by the offer. Tottenham are also involved, but their own bid has also hit the buffers with Spurs wanting to include both Toby Alderweireld and Moussa Sissoko in the deal. The  Corriere Della Sera  say its leaves Arsenal with the hope of getting a deal over the line. So who is Zaniolo and why would the club reportedly be willing to pay so much for him

Arsenal Refusal to give Koslielny a FREE TRANSFER

If the latest reports are to be believed, Arsenal are not going to give their disgraced captain Laurent Koscielny a free transfer and will, in fact, be demanding a significant transfer fee. According to  the Evening Standard  Arsenal will demand €10 Million for the 33-year-old who still has 12 months left on his contract. It seems the tough stance is being driven by the anger felt at the club towards the Frenchman, in particular, manager Unai Emery.

David Ornstein: I’d Be Staggered If Arsenal Sign Zaha

David Ornstein: I’d Be Staggered If Arsenal Sign Zaha The BBC‘s David Ornstein has provided a worrying update on Arsenal’s transfer window, claiming he’d be ‘staggered’ if the Wilfried Zaha deal comes to pass (via Arseblog). It’s been a worrying summer for Arsenal so far in terms of transfers despite an optimistic start. The club needs to sign players in a number of positions and so far, only the young forward Gabriel Martinelli has completed the deal. The William Saliba deal is effectively done, but the BBC‘s David Ornstein claimed that there hasn’t much movement elsewhere. “Nothing is imminent,” Ornstein told Arseblog. “I’d be staggered if the Zaha transfer comes to fruition. In that position, they’ll have to look for an alternative option. “They clearly want to bring in someone who can provide width. I did see Malcom links. I don’t know about the current links but that is a transfer they’ve pursued in the past. That was a Sanllehi-led transfer so it wouldn’t be a su...

£25million release clause in his contract

Arsenal will not pursue a move for Ajax star Hakim Ziyech after the club carried out a detailed analysis of the player and will focus on alternative targets. The Morocco international played a pivotal role in the Dutch side’s success last season as an exciting young side came within seconds of reaching the Champions League final after landmark wins over Real Madrid and Juventus. Ziyech scored 19 times and registered 16 assists in all competitions and would offer the creativity and versatility Unai Emery appears to be seeking to bolster a midfield and forward line which will not be able to call upon the services of Aaron Ramsey this season following his move to Juventus. According to David Ornstein, via the Arseblog podcast, however, Emery is not interested in the 26-year-old, who reportedly has a £25million release clause in his contract, and will pursue alternative targets.

Manchester City bench warming keeper gives reasons why nobody can force him to LEAVE

Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravio has no intention of leaving the club now or in the future. The 36-year-old Chilean international has not played for City in almost a year since the 2018 Community Shield win over Chelsea as he suffered a long term injury shortly after.  Even when fit, Bravio still struggle to do the basic things required from a City keeper.. His ball distribution is still poor while his thinking and confidence is still low. That realization forced Pep Guardiola to recall youngster Aro Muric from NAC Breda who played all the Caraboa Cup match and won it with City. Muric will leave the club on loan to a Championship club to get regular and develop properly while Eiber's 35-year-old keeper Asier Riesgo will join to deputize as Ederson's number 2.  Speaking about his future, Bravio told La Tercera: "I am ambitious, in the sense of wanting to aspire to the maximum. I'm in the best team in England and it would be crazy to get out of th...

Manchester City's highly rated goalkeeper Aro Muric have completed his move to Nottingham Forest.  The 20-year-old Kosovo international played an integral part in City's Caraboa Cupa victory by pulling out world class saves and commanding the back brilliantly. But before leaving the club on loan in search of first team football, Muric extended his contract for further three years while penning an emotional letter to the club, Pep Gurdiola and the other keepers.  "Extending my current deal with City by a further three years is incredible and an honour for me", Muric wrote on his Instragram page. "I really enjoyed the 2018/19 season and to be involved in our successful Caraboa Cup run was an amazing experience. The players and supporters have made me feel so happy and part of everything and the club have showed their belief in me with this deal. "I want to be the best i can under Pep Guardiola and i'm learning from the very best in the busine...
