Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravio has no intention of leaving the club now or in the future. The 36-year-old Chilean international has not played for City in almost a year since the 2018 Community Shield win over Chelsea as he suffered a long term injury shortly after.
Even when fit, Bravio still struggle to do the basic things required from a City keeper.. His ball distribution is still poor while his thinking and confidence is still low. That realization forced Pep Guardiola to recall youngster Aro Muric from NAC Breda who played all the Caraboa Cup match and won it with City. Muric will leave the club on loan to a Championship club to get regular and develop properly while Eiber's 35-year-old keeper Asier Riesgo will join to deputize as Ederson's number 2.
Speaking about his future, Bravio told La Tercera: "I am ambitious, in the sense of wanting to aspire to the maximum. I'm in the best team in England and it would be crazy to get out of there. "I have to be at my club and see what happens later". Asked about his international future, having not featured for Chile in over a year. He replied: "I've been very clear: I did not quit. "I made myself available to the manager when he visited me in Manchester, but it didn't depend on me not being there. It's something that was not in my hands".
