Official! Manchester City accepts FC Porto £42m bid for Eliaquim Mangala

According to the Sun, Manchester City have accepted FC Porto's £42m bid for Eliaquim Mangala. Pep Guardiola has no interest in keeping the 26-year-old Portugal international who lacks the tactical or technical skill sets to strive under him.  Guardiola has limited him to just four Premier League starts and moved him out on loan in his first season to Valencia and the subsequent season to Everton on January deadline day. Mbappe rejects PSG contract extension as he sets sight on joining Liverpool

According Marca, Kylian Mbappe will not be extending his contract with PSG as he sets sights on moving to a bigger and better club. The 20-year-old joined PSG from Monaco for a world record £166m and has gone to win 6 trophies in two seasons.  But Mbappe whose contract expires in 2022 feels PSG are minnows in Europe and don't have what it takes to rival traditional power house like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Liverpool for the Champions League. Marca now reports that Mbappe is not motivated by money alone {PSG currently pays him £320,000-a-week} but rather, trophies and individual awards like Ballon d'Or or FIFA World Best Player are his primary motives.

Manchester City holds talks with Benfica president over £100m star Joao Felix

According to the Sun, Manchester City are closing in on signing Benfica wonder kid Joao Felix. The club's chief executive Ferran Soriano had held meeting with Benfica president Luis Flipe Vieira and agent Jorge Mendes at the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge over the possibility of signing Joao Felix whose market value has skyrocketed after enjoying a spectacular season with Benfica.  The 19-years-old Portugal international scored 15 goals in 26 appearances to help Benfica beat FC Porto by two points to the Primeira Liga title. That incredible fate and his natural born talents has attracted lots of clubs to him including Manchester City who are ready to meet his price evaluation believed to be £80m to £100m.
