According Marca, Kylian Mbappe will not be extending his contract with PSG as he sets sights on moving to a bigger and better club. The 20-year-old joined PSG from Monaco for a world record £166m and has gone to win 6 trophies in two seasons.
But Mbappe whose contract expires in 2022 feels PSG are minnows in Europe and don't have what it takes to rival traditional power house like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Liverpool for the Champions League. Marca now reports that Mbappe is not motivated by money alone {PSG currently pays him £320,000-a-week} but rather, trophies and individual awards like Ballon d'Or or FIFA World Best Player are his primary motives.
Real Madrid and Liverpool are currently the two clubs he is interested in and there's a big chance he will leave next season. Last season, Mbappe scored 33 goals with 7 assists in 29 Ligue 1 appearances. And in Champions League, he scored four goals and five assists in eight Champions League starts.
