Shocking bid! Liverpool rejects PSG £80m offer for Roberto Firmino

Liverpool have reportedly rejected PSG £80m offer to sign Roberto Firmino, according Don Balon.

The Parisian giants are desperate to sign a creative forward who possess boundless energy to harry defenders into submission as well as assist and score goals. Firmino fits that profile to take PSG to the next level but, Liverpool aren't interested in selling their world class forward who has just won them the Champions League and Brazil the Copa America title.

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are without the best attacking trident in Liverpool's modern history and selling off one for just £80m despite earning close to £300m last season makes no sense. But, Liverpool will reconsider any offer than clocks the £150m mark and above for Firmino, they will certainly sell to PSG.

It is a clear statement from the directors of the club that they consider him to be a key piece of the puzzle for next season. Pogba  continues to train and has not shown any indication that he would try to force a move, even wearing the captain's armband on the club's tour of Australia.
